Good morning everyone in the CAS(E) this Sketch universe! I have something a little different for you guys today. Not only am I posting something on a Tuesday but I'm celebrating a ton of amazing challenge blogs along with Altenew on the Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop! If you are here to find the current challenge, you can find it here but I hope you'll check out this blog hop as well. I thought you'd get a kick out of that. Just check out all the blogs that are participating:
My cards today use Altenew's Doodle Blooms and Halftone Happy stamp sets along with CAS(E) this Sketch #189, our current challenge which you can find here. I hope you like them.
My first card stretches the sketch just a bit but keeps with the CAS idea by being all one layer. I stamped and masked off my "happy" before adding in various Doodle Blooms. Next, I used copics and a multi-liner to add extra fun to my blooms and leaves. Lastly, I added some sequins and enamel dots before positioning the "birthday" portion of my sentiment along the tail of the "y". My next card is a little less CAS but no less fun.
I went a little daisy crazy on this card but I think you can totally see the sketch in it. I stamped a ton of Doodle Blooms, colored them along with my "happy", and had my Brother Scan & Cut go crazy cutting them out. Next, I layered them all haphazardly on my black and white card base using foam tape here and there for dimension. Once I had a floral arrangement I liked, I added my sentiment which was finished off on a little green banner attached to the "y".
I hope you enjoyed my contributions to the Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop. Here are some more details about the hop:
