CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge #9

WOW it's challenge #9 already! I wanted to mention that this challenge will be our last before we go on our Holiday break. We'll close this challenge at the normal time on Tuesday, December 18. I'll also announce the winners at the normal time on Thursday, December 20. Then we'll be on break until a new challenge begins on Thursday, January 10. So here's your last chance to play along for a while!

If you have some last minute holiday cards to create using this week's sketch will help you to quickly work some up. Don't forget that you can turn the orientation of this sketch. Some of the designers did just that. We hope you'll join us this week for our special Pre-Holiday break challenge!

CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge #8

Welcome to challenge #8! We have a few of announcements to make first before we get started. We're very sad today because this is Laurie Willison's last week as a CTS Design Team Member. She needs to free up some more time for her family. She and her outstanding talents will be sorely missed!

On a more happier note Ardyth Percy-Robb has just joined our team!!! You're in for a real treat because she's a very CLEVER designer. You can check out her squeaky clean graphic cards on her blog Maskerade. Welcome to CTS Ardyth!

I started cardmaking in 2006, at a Stampin’ Up! Party and have never looked back. Before that, I would not have claimed to be crafty or creative at all – I’m an accountant! Currently, I’m a SAHM to my 13 year old son and my 9 year old daughter. I also volunteer in my daughter’s school and I am the piano accompanist for two children’s choirs. I love clean, graphic design with bold colours and lots of white space. My favourite cards are the ones where stamps are used in unexpected ways to create something completely different. I’m so excited to be able to play along with the very talented members of the CTS Design team!

Now here's our beautiful sketch for this week designed by the lovely Lisa! Letting images run off the edge always looks natural and adds so much interest. The last announcement is that we now have a SKETCHES page! Now you'll be able to refer back to all of our sketches in one convenient place!!!
